How to open your KitchenCFO files

Your kit and tools are Excel (.xlsx) files. You can open them free — no software to buy — on any device. For the full colour & design, Microsoft Excel or the free Excel Online works best.

Excel Online: go to office.com → sign in with any free Microsoft / Outlook account → Upload → open the file.
Or desktop Microsoft Excel if you have it installed on your laptop or PC.

Google Sheets (free)

Go to sheets.google.com → File → Import / Open → upload the file.

Opens and calculates fine. A few colours and icons may look simpler than in Excel.

On your phone (Android & iPhone)

Install the free Microsoft Excel app (Play Store / App Store), then open the downloaded file in it — that gives the best look.
The Google Sheets app also works.

Tips

A few tiny things that help

Type only in the cream-coloured cells. Totals and results calculate automatically.
Your name and licence key appear on each sheet's header — that's your personal copy.
